Amorosa Designs began with a little immigrant girl who found herself surrounded by flowers in a place that would become her second home. Her parents worked in a family-owned floral business—a place that not only welcomed them into a new world, but made them part of the Claridge family. It was among those petals and people that she first discovered the quiet magic of flowers.

Over time, she fell deeply in love with the beauty, delicacy, and silent expression held in every bloom. Flowers are there for every chapter of life—graduations, weddings, new beginnings, even goodbyes. In recognizing this, she saw that floral design was more than arranging petals—it was about being present in life’s most meaningful moments. Helping others celebrate and remember through flowers became her purpose.

Amorosa, meaning “loving” in Spanish, was born from this heartfelt journey. Our brand is inspired by the Rose of Sharon—a flower mentioned in the Song of Songs and found in the fertile Plain of Sharon. Known for its abundant beauty and accessibility, it symbolizes love, flourishing, and connection. It is the heart of our vision.
